Church of Scientology, Wichita

Wichita has been a very special place in the heart of Scientology, since this very city is where L. Ron Hubbard discovered the existence of the thetan (spirit) and where Scientology ultimately began. Our Scientology Mission was opened and presented March 25th, 1995. It was a momentous occasion which attracted both newcomers and Scientology veterans from all over the country.

For 25 years the Church of Scientology, Mission of Wichita and Hubbard Dianetics Foundation have been reaching out to the community, helping others to overcome obstacles and dramatically improve their lives. Our purpose is to help an individual discover their true spiritual nature and improve their relationships to self, family, groups, Mankind, all life forms, the material universe, the spiritual universe and the individual's Supreme Being. The ultimate result is a truly happy being enjoying spiritual freedom.

Since the forming of the first church in 1954, the Scientology religion has grown to span the globe. Today, more than 10,000 Scientology Churches, Missions, related organizations and affiliated groups minister to millions in 165 countries. And those numbers are constantly growing; in fact, Scientology’s presence in the world is growing faster now than at any time in its history.

As the only major worldwide religious movement to emerge in the twentieth century, Scientology generates immense public interest.
